Bowl History:
The Emerald Bowl was first played in 2002 as the San Francisco Bowl and was won by Virgina Tech over Air Force 20-13. Since its inception the game has been played at AT&T Park, home of the San Francisco Giants. The stadium is located on the waterfront in the South Beach neighborhood of San Francisco and offers sweeping views of San Francisco Bay.
