Bowl History:
The Chick-Fil-A-Bowl, formerly the Peach Bowl and the
Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl, hosted its first game in December
of 1968 with a matchup between LSU and Florida State
University (LSU won 31-27). Since 1993 the bowl has
matched up teams from the Southeastern Conference and
the Atlantic Coast Confernence. In 2005 the bowl featured
its first matchup of top 10 teams when it hosted LSU's
40-3 win over Miami.
